As new vacation rental owners, we wish we had read honest, non-commissioned reviews of management companies before choosing our first one. We were drawn in by a large company promising advanced pricing systems and high returns, but quickly found ourselves as just another property in a large portfolio. Pricing dropped far below our comfort level, maintenance costs were excessive, and we had repeated cleanliness issues. In the end, we made less than expected and even had to cover over $5,000 in damages after only one season.
Everything changed when we switched to Beach Luxury Vacations. Working with Tabitha Marvel and her team is a completely different experience. From day one, their team has been hands-on, proactive, and incredibly responsive. They’ve provided thoughtful guidance on maximizing rental performance, assisted with selecting furnishings, coordinated deliveries, and have consistently been available whenever we need them. The level of attention and care is something we simply did not think was possible in this industry.

We were referred to Beach Luxury Vacations by our HOA after a bad experience with another STR management company, and the difference is astounding. Our previous company allowed awful guests, which led to damage to our home and negative reviews, with no accountability. The property manager changed 3 times in one year, responses took weeks, and their office phone always went to voicemail.
The Beach Luxury Vacations team is different. Tabitha and her team, Chad, Tiffany, and Penny, are exceptional, responsive, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to protecting our investment. We have direct cell phone access, which has made a world of difference.
What really stands out is their proactive communicaton and focus on preventative maintenance. They handle the small, cost effective details, like properly caulking around bathtubs to prevent water intrusion and avoid larger costly issues like drywall repair. Ironically, we had this exact issue with our previous company, and not once did they point out the failed caulking and grout by the tub. We kept paying to fix the damage without addressing the cause. That level of attention to detail and care sets Beach Luxury Vacations apart.
The quality of renters improved immediately, and our home is now consistently well cared for. For the first time, we feel completely confident in how our property is being managed, and my wife can finally sleep at night.
